The Halloween season is here and pumpkins are everywhere proudly decorating front porches. The young and not so young, crafty and not so crafty all try their best to create the finest lantern to adorn their front porch.
Is your perfectly carved pumpkin ready to see all the trick-or-treaters, or are you still looking for some inspiration? If that’s the case, I would like to show you some beautiful creations that are worth a try.

I read an interesting post today about 6 Healthy Treat Ideas for Halloween and realized that Halloween is just around the corner. I am now in panic mode trying to figure out what the kids should be dressed as. With Maya, the last two years were easy – we just slipped on her costume (delivered by her wonderful aunt) and it was only for photo purposes.
For her first Halloween she was only a few days old.

A few weeks ago I noticed a red leaf on the ground, a little sign that fall is on its way. Today the ground is covered with a blanket of colorful leaves.

My cousin Kasia posted a photo on Facebook of a beautiful bouquet made out of maple leaves.
Turning colorful leaves into roses looked like an excellent idea and a challenge. The next day, while collecting leaves, I was wondering if I could do the same thing.
Luckily it turned out to be much easier than I thought. My bouquet of “roses” came out gorgeous.
